Chuck Brown, the D.C. based godfather of Go-Go, signing my CD after his concert at Rootsfest 2011 in Baltimore, MD. Coordinated by Alternate Roots of Atlanta, this festival took place on Baltimore’s “Highway to Nowhere” … a decades abandoned highway project that fractured a neighborhood. Artists bring people together..and this was certainly the case at Rootsfest.
